Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between Simply Careers (operated by The Elite Collective) and our clients. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Payment Terms
Full payment is required before work begins. This secures your booking and allows us to allocate time and resources to your project. Invoices are issued via email and include all necessary payment instructions. We accept payment via direct deposit (bank details are listed on the invoice), PayPal, and Stripe.
Simply Careers is registered for GST. In line with Australian legislation, GST is included in all listed prices and is not added at checkout or invoicing. The advertised price is the total amount payable.
All payments are non-refundable; however, we are committed to your satisfaction. If you have concerns about your service, we will work with you to ensure a positive and fair outcome.
2. Delivery of Documents
Draft documents are provided in secured, non-editable PDF format for your review. Once full payment has been received, final documents are delivered via email in editable Microsoft Word format. We no longer provide printed or mailed copies.
3. Turnaround Times and Client Cooperation
We make every effort to deliver your documents by the agreed deadline. However, we rely on your timely communication and cooperation to do so. Tight timeframes require responsiveness from both parties, and outcomes often depend on how promptly and accurately information is provided. We are not responsible for delays resulting from missed deadlines on the client side.
4. Scope of Work
Our services include a structured consultation process, professional document development, and up to two rounds of reasonable revisions (unless otherwise agreed in writing). Final deliverables are provided in Microsoft Word format.
Our services do not include unlimited revisions, continuous updates outside the agreed project scope, direct application submissions, or legal or career advice beyond resume and application support. Any additional services outside scope may incur extra fees and must be discussed and agreed upon in writing.
5. Confidentiality and Ethics
Your privacy is a priority. All team members sign strict non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and operate under ethical confidentiality obligations. We never sell, share, or disclose your personal information to third parties. We treat all clients with fairness and deliver our services with honesty, professionalism, and respect.
6. Security and Systems
Our systems are protected by regularly updated antivirus software, firewalls, and strong password protections. All incoming documents are scanned for viruses, and any found to be infected will be returned unopened or deleted. Unsolicited emails with attachments will be deleted without being opened.
7. Proofreading, Accuracy, and Client Responsibility
We work with you to ensure your experience and background are represented accurately and professionally. However, it is your responsibility to provide accurate, complete source information — including dates, contact details, qualifications, and work history. We rely on this data to develop your documents. If any errors are identified within seven days of final delivery, we will make corrections free of charge.
8. Limitation of Liability
We take all reasonable steps to deliver reliable, timely service, but we cannot be held responsible for losses caused by system outages, power or internet failure, or delays beyond our control. We are not liable for losses incurred due to inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client or for job vacancies that close prior to submission. We accurately represent our skills and will only deliver services we are qualified to provide.
9. Client Conduct
We aim to foster respectful and collaborative relationships with our clients. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services without refund in cases of abusive, disrespectful, or inappropriate conduct, failure to cooperate with agreed timelines, or where there is an attempt to misrepresent qualifications or experience. We may also decline to proceed with a project if our values or service model are not aligned with the needs or expectations of the client.
10. Overdue Invoices
Invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if payment is not received within this timeframe.
